Responsibility in the Supply Chain
Transparency and due diligence are key elements of sustainable and ethical procurement.
As an authorised credit institution offering ethical and Islamic-compliant financial solutions, KT Bank AG assumes responsibility throughout its supply chains. As part of the KT Gold Account, we import physically stored gold and fulfil the due diligence obligations in accordance with the Conflict Minerals Regulation (EU) 2017/821.
Our gold procurement is carried out exclusively through verified suppliers and LBMA-accredited refineries. Each gold batch is documented with regard to weight, origin and supplier; customs and origin certificates are fully available. Compliance with these requirements is monitored by the Management Board and Compliance.
This ensures that our procurement processes are transparent, responsible and low-risk.
